I thought she seems okay until she bullied/guilted Sam (a stranger) into taking a dog she was responsible for. Why, vet lady, do you want the injured dog in the hands of someone you have to harass into taking him? Nope. Sorry. That’s not cool. You’re an idiot Amelia, and not much of a vet for that matter.
I agree it was weird and the excuse they gave made no sense. I do LIKE that it was Sam Cas went to hug because for a long time now Sam has been better to Cas than Dean and Cas has been obviously noticing this. Dean has not been behaving in a way that invites hugs! I think it’s clear they are not as close as they once were.
